Daughter to two children’s musicians, she started making music for kids as a kid herself — tagging along to her parents’ library shows, school auditoriums, and cafe gigs.
To date, Amber has played over 500 performances, co-produced two dramas, launched wildly popular family concerts, published five children’s books (with her dad), and penned over 50 songs including cowboy ballads, toddler ukulele tunes, and butterfly medleys composed for an audience choir.
Now in her mid-twenties, Amber is working on her first album, hosting campfire music circles, and keeping on with her family’s mission of creating joyful, kid-centered experiences through music.
Amber’s library and school programs include movement-based songs, sing-along songs, and hands on instrument play with bean bag animals, scarves, rhythm sticks, egg shakers, and bubbles (always a hit!) Programs can be tailored for toddlers through early elementary-aged children.
Songwriting workshops explore rhyme, mood, melody, and storytelling as participants write and record a song together with Amber. Workshops serve youth from early elementary through high school.
Amber Blue offers interactive, music-filled birthday entertainment for toddlers and young kids, with options ranging from 30-minute shows, to full two-hour party experiences. Through sing-alongs, movement games, bubbles, balloon twisting, DJ dance music, and hands-on instruments, kids are encouraged to actively participate.
Amber’s interactive festival concerts invite children to dance, sing, play instruments, and pop bubbles. Performing both solo and with her band for large events, Amber brings upbeat, family-friendly classics to festivals and special events within 50 miles of Austin.
